Martha Jane Sulfridge

Mrs. Martha Jane Sulfridge age 87 of Tazewell, TN was born March 1, 1928 and passed away October 13, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was saved at 18 years of age. She had a strong faith in God that she passed along to her children. She enjoyed gardening, walking and playing bingo with her friends at the Senior Citizen Building. She was an accomplished quilt maker and made numerous quilts for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Leonard Sulfridge; father and mother, Sterling & Julie Williams Cosby; brothers and sisters, Mary Daniels, Laura Gibson, Minnie Cosby, Junior Frank Cosby and infant brother Joe Seffis Cosby; children, Evelyn Sams, Frances Johnson Vanover, Charles Ray Sulfridge and Roy Fred Sulfridge; two grandchildren, Michael Sulfridge and Randy Sulfridge; and two great grandchildren.

She is survived by Daughters & Sons-in-law: Loretta & Troy Fultz

Rebecca & Charles Yeary all of Tazewell, TN

Son & Daughter-in-law: Jessie & Rosa Sulfridge of Harrogate, TN

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 Friday October 16, 2015 at Coffey Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 P.M. Friday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Irish Cemetery.
