Martha J. Wheatley age 73 of New Tazewell, TN was born April 10, 1941 and passed away June 4, 2014 at the Claiborne County Hospital. She worked at Claiborne County Hospital and Nursing Home. She attended Tipprell Full Gospel Community Church. She loved to fish. She was preceded in death by her parents, James T. and Donnie Cox; brothers, Luther and Charles Cox; sister, Marie Bailey and granddaughter Sarah Wheatley.

She is survived by her Daughter: Patsy Bailey of New Tazewell, TN

Son: Daniel Wheatley (Becky) of Tazewell, TN

Grandchildren: Jonathan Bailey, Brandon Wheatley, Steven Moore and David Wheatley

The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 P.M. Saturday June 7, 2014 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. Funeral service 1:30 P.M. Sunday June 8, 2014 in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Lambert Cemetery.
