Mazie Alene Logan, age 85, of Tazewell TN., was born January 31, 1935 and passed away on January 12, 2021. Alene was saved and baptized at First Baptist Church of Miamisburg Ohio, in August of 1969, at the age of 34. She enjoyed being outdoors and loved to grow flowers and garden. Alene was someone who never really sat still, she was on the go from cooking for her family to various jobs outside the home. She was an active member of Dogwood Heights Missionary Baptist Church, until she became too ill to attend. Alene was preceded in death by her parents Leonard Booth and Opha Booth, husband Earl Whitt Logan, brothers Lemon Booth, James Booth, Earnest Booth, Norval Booth, and Sherman Booth, sisters Lorene Johnson and Treva Morton, and infant sister Ruby Booth. She is survived by her son Johnny Logan and wife Cynthia. Granddaughter Kayla Franklin and husband Derek. Brothers Shelby Booth and Wayne Booth. Sister Joyce Epperson. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday January 16th from 12 until 2 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will follow in the Moody Cemetery.
