Paul Edward Leedy

Paul was proud to serve his country as a Marine from 1969 to 1975. After leaving the Marines he enjoyed his career as a truck driver. In his spare time he enjoyed going on trips with his wife. Later in life he loved spending time with his grand children and his great grandchildren; his grands and his greats.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Bertha (Mabe) Leedy; loving wife of 40 years Peggy Donetta Leedy; son Steven Allen Leedy; brothers Jim Leedy, Jr Leedy, and Bill Leedy; sisters Lou Vada Miller, Cornelia Ellison, Beulah Sturgill, Nell Laws, Leona Melton, Birdy Leedy, Hattie Leedy, and a special niece who was like a sister Geraldine Smith.

He is survived by his sons Scott (Diane) Leedy and Shawn Leedy. Sisters Bobbie (Domingo) Ruiz, Judy (Larry) Painter, and Donna Mae Atkins. Grandchildren Ashton (Shelby) Leedy, Brianna (Johnathan) Johnson, Elliot (Taylor) Leedy, Amanda (Shawn) Noah, Jacob Leedy, and Callie Leedy. Great grandchildren Liam Leedy, Ava Leedy, Bella Leedy, Cadence Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Adrian Johnson, Sophia Leedy, Carson Leedy, Elissa Noah, Ethan Noah, and Emma Noah. Brother-in-law Joe Laws. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday August 31, 2022 from 1 until 3 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. A Military service will follow at Coffey Funeral Home.
