I just found this online. I worked with Kevin at Campbell County EMS . I still think of him almost daily. He was one of the best friends i have ever had. He was a Great man. Was loved by everyone that ever met him. He made a difference in everyones life that he touched. When i think of him i can just see him smiling and that laugh he had. I am so very sorry for the lost of Kevin he use to ride my daughter in the ambulance when she was sick and had to go to the hospital he would make her smile his voice was soft and kind he will be sadly missed and i feel for his family hold on to God's unchanging hand and he will see you threw it all and you will meet again one day.

I am so sorry for your lose.  Kevin was such a great guy. We worked together several times on the ambulance in Claiborne county, and he would also find a way to brighten your day no matter what was wrong. He will be missed!

I WAS IN SUCH SHOCK WHEN I HEARD THE NEWS ABOUT KEVIN. I WANTED TO ATTEND THE SERVICES BUT WAS NOT ABLE TO DUE TO WORK. I ATTENDED THE RIDGE MY SENIOR YEAR(90-91) WHERE I FIRST MET KEVIN. KEVIN WAS SUCH A LOVING SOUL, HE WAS ONE OF THE MANY WHO TOOK ME IN AND MADE ME FEEL RIGHT AT HOME. I HAD THE PLEASURE OF GOING TO MY SENIOR PROM WITH KEVIN AND DATING HIM FOR AWHILE. HE WAS A AWESOME PERSON AND FRIEND.I ONLY COULD WISH THE WORLD HAD MORE PEOPLE LIKE HIM. what a wonderful blessing, yes it is sad when we lose a loved one, but oh the JOY of knowing that this brother is looking into the face of Christ, do not weep for him, weep for us, and for the lost, for we must wait to see him, and some will only see him when he tells them "depart from me"

I am so sorry for your loss. Kevin and I started Kindergarten together and was together until we graduated in 1993. We were always friends, he always helped me and would cheer me up. Seems like only yesterday we were harvesting the wheat that Arby and WD had planted... Thelma would bring Kevin and Jon down to see the big old "Putt Putt" tractor in action. They always seemed to like that old tractor better than anything.  That's my memory of Kevin... Always amazed by the simplest things and always laughing and smiling. He's smiling in the face of God now and I know he's laughing and saying he can't wait for us all to get there with him.  I love you Mary, Lawrence, and Jon. I can't bring Kevin back but I can honor him by trying my best to see life the way he did and to treat others the way he would treat them.  You truly saw the love of Christ when you were looking at Kevin. I hope I can honor his memory by letting others see Christ in me.  Thank you for having such a wonderful loving family and thank you for allowing the rest of us to share in your love for him and Jon.  I love you all and my prayers are with you.

I work at Union County EMS as a paramedic. Kevin was my partner for a while at Claiboorne EMS when I worked there. We had alot of good memories working together,racing and fishing. He was a good friend, and I will miss him dearly. I'll always remember him smiling and laughing.
