Robert King McVey

Mr. Robert King “ Bob” McVey age 79 of Tazewell, Tn. passed away October 7, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Rehab. In Jefferson City, TN. He was a member of Cedar Fork Baptist Church and attended Pleasant View Baptist Church. HE was a Veteran of U.S. Army and served in Germany. He was owner & operator of Bulldozer & land excuavating business for over 50 years. He was a devoted husband, brother and neighbor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Statia King McVey; wife, Dorsia Davis McVey; father-in-law and mother-in-law: William Clyde (Jack) & Arizona Davis; 5 brothers-in-law.

He is survived by Sisters: Peggy (Kenneth) Winstead

Kay Cameron all of Morristown, TN

Sue Johnson of Jefferson City, TN

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant View Baptist Church 1114 Little Sycamore Church Tazewell, TN 37879 or Cedar Fork Baptist Church in Tazewell, TN 37879.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Coffey Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. The body will lie in state 30 minutes before funeral service. Burial in the Irish Memorial Garden.
