Zelma Louise Jarnigan fondly known by others as Louise of New Tazewell, TN Passed away at 1:23 am Friday April 26,2024 in her home while listening to some of her loved ones talk about past memories at the age of 90.
Louise was born on Tuesday November 19, 1933, in Claiborne County, TN. Louise Was a homemaker and loving wife, Mother/ Mamaw. She was a servant of the Lord and was previously a member of Ypsilanti Missionary Baptist church and presently was a member of Young’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her garden, spending time with her family sharing memories, laughter and joy. She sure did love her flowers, cooking and serving the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Charles F. Jarnigan, Son Gregory Jarnigan, Parents Isaac and Rutha Taylor along with her siblings Alf, Bob, Ray, Fred, Ruby, Marie, Clara Emma and Mary.
She was survived by Granddaughters Brandy and Michelle. Grandson Dalton. Great Grandchildren Linda, Vincent, and Shaun, her four Brothers Bruce, Paul, Roy, and Shirley. along with many other loved ones whom she had taken under her wing as if they were truly her own.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have prayed, called, stopped by, and showed their love and support at this difficult time. It is much appreciated.
A visitation for Zelma will be held Monday, April 29, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A graveside service will be Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ray Taylor Memorial Cemetery..
