Allan was the best combination of friend, family and counsel 
He was always armed with the best stories.
We, non French speaking  tourists in Paris on business for the first time, Odile in a business meeting, Allan was kind enough to met us in the Tuileries Garden  behind  the Louvre. He was like a safety net with a soft landing. There with thousands of people waiting in line at the entrance and he shared with us his secret back passage into the the museum sharing with us  a place to eat great food and sit and ( and a bathroom) it was perfection. 

Allan was always an open minded modern  thinking and practical man that was loved and will be forever remembered and missed
