Carol Sue Roemer, the only child of Max and Sylvia Roemer, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023. She was born in Brooklyn, moved to Great Neck, and then to Sutton Place, Manhattan, with her parents. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Sanford, Connecticut, in 1964. She had very fond memories of her years there.
She was married to Alan Braverman from 1971 to 1973, and they remained close and saw each other every week until Carol passed.
Carol moved to Plaza 400 and loved living there. She knew everyone and especially enjoyed the pool. She sat in the same chair and loved talking to the members and pool attendants. We will all miss her. The summers will never be the same.
A graveside service for Carol will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Union Fields Cemetery, 82-11 Cypress Avenue, Ridgewood, NY 11385.
