Born on September 3, 1931, in Cleveland, OH, to Angeline and Daniel Kanillos who immigrated from Greece in the early part of the 20th century. Christine married Milton J. Pappas on November 7th, 1953, and was a dedicated wife for nearly 70 years. She raised her two children in Summit, New Jersey, and, for the last 30 years, called New York City home. Christine had a sharp wit and a keen sense of style; she was always elegantly attired. Furthermore, she enjoyed traveling the world with her husband and spending time with family. She is survived by her husband, daughter, Jeannine Pappas Becaj, son, William Pappas, daughter-in-law, Alison Pappas, and grandsons, Charlie and Teddy Pappas.
