To my one and only brother.  Robert had a play date with a cute, rambunctious girl just the other day. I'm sure you would have adored her. She told me that one day Robert was crying at school and when she asked him what was the matter, he said he really missed you.  I still think about you every day and hope you know how much I loved you. I wish I had been better at showing it. Mom went to mass with Nancy on your birthday and lit a candle for you. Your friends are keeping your memory alive in their hearts. I know that our world will be different now without you in it but I want to believe you are watching over us and smiling. Give Dara and Grandpa a hug for me. Can't wait to see you again on the other side. Love you and miss you like crazy.

So sorry to hear this. I remember fondly playing with Colin in Stuyvesant Town as well as when he taught me to ride a bike on Long Island. Rest in peace to my first friend. My thoughts go out to the whole family.

My heart goes out to the entire family of Colin Joseph Burke. His loving warm and winning smile never failed to touch me. I loved this young man and pray he is resting in peace.

Dear Joe & Nancy - Our sincere sympathies to you all . We both are beyond saddened . He will always be missed by our family , because he was part of our family for 7 years. We loved  having him come up to see us in Maine with Jess. We loved spending time with him when we were in NYC-- We will always treasure those memories. He will be missed by so many . He was a very special person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you both and your family.

I am saddened for your loss and hope you can take comfort in knowing how special Colin was to so many people. I have so many great childhood memories with Colin, both from PS40 and from 104. My family and I send our deepest prayers and sympathy.
