Daniel Jarecky, born June 2, 1962, passed away October 26, 2019 after a lengthy illness. He was the definition of courageous warrior as he maintained his positive outlook and sweet disposition despite health challenges. After growing up on Long Island, completing college in Miami, and a work stint in San Francisco, he returned to New York City and set up his own IT consulting business through which he served a variety of clients for many years. Danny was a devoted friend and family member, and maintained extremely close relationships with his aunt Maida Piaker, uncle and aunt Bert and Gladys Aaron, cousins Cynthia Aaron, Harry Aaron and Joan Swanson and their children, Jill Aaron and Don MacPherson and their daughter, Steven and Randi Piaker, Liz London and David Piaker, and their children. He was an expert authority on classic cars, an accomplished photographer, and devoted to his two cats Fido and Rover. Daniel is predeceased by his mother Judith Kurke Jarecky and father Jesse Jarecky. The funeral will be at Union Field Cemetery 11:00 am Monday, October 28, 2019.
