Dorothy Hynes Kelly, 77, passed away on October 31, 2013, after a short illness, with her husband, John, by her side. Dorothy was married to John Kelly, a devoted husband and a life-long resident of Yorkville.
Dorothy was born and raised in New Rochelle, NY where she leaves four sisters Barbara and Jim Dandry, Mickie and Jose Fosina, Gerri and Ray Feeney, and Maureen Walsh. Her brother John Hynes and brother-in-law Monty Walsh predeceased her. Dorothy was a devoted wife, wonderful sister and an exceptional aunt to her twenty nieces and nephews. We are all saddened by her passing.
Visitation will be Monday, November 4, 2013 from 2 – 5 and 7 – 9 PM at the Chas. Peter Nagel Funeral Directors, 352 East 87th Street, New York, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, November 5, 2013, 10 AM at Joseph’s of Yorkville RC Church, 404 East 87th Street, New York, NY.
