I miss Liz so much.  I think about her every day. I would love Robin and Geniene would visit the  Berkshires and we can bring Liz into our conversation.

I met Liz at IS 137 .  Our paths crossed again surprisingly many years later as guidance counselors in Columbus High School. She was very much respected and admired by her peers and students. She was a staunch supporter and advocate for her students. She always looked like she stepped out of a magazine. Perfectly dressed and looking glamorous. I had long ago went on to the dressed down look and admired her professionalism  and  the role model she provided for her students.
Mostly , I remember a devoted and loving mother. She was so very proud of her daughters, their accomplishments and love.
She lived life and filled it with good friends, adventures and a career that was stellar.
My deepest condolences to her dear daughters and friends who loved each other as family.
I know she should have had more time with them all.

I met Liz when I joined the counseling department of Columbus High School in the fall of 1998. She was always available to answer any questions I might have.  The time that was most pleasurable was when we were all together at our Friday morning breakfast case conferences where we discussed  challenging situations but also schmoozed and broke bread together. Liz was always a delight to spend time with at these breakfasts.  
My sincere condolences to her children, grandchildren and sister. She left us way too soon.

Liz was more than a friend to me.  She was a sister.  We went through life together and  helped each other through difficult times and joyful times.  We raised our children and spent many summers together in the Berkshires.
A testament to Liz is her two daughters Geniene and Robin who she raised beautifully through very difficult times.  They are wonderful women and I know she was very proud of them and proud of her.
I loved Liz and will miss her.

I have so many wonderful memories of spending the high holidays at Elizabeth’s house. I loved coming, not only because Robyn was my friend but because I loved spending time with her entire family. Elizabeth was always the kindest most generous host, had her home beautifully designed, and had the best food! I will always remember that she took me in as family when mine was not nearby. She will be greatly missed. 

Liz and I went to second stage theatre for several years along with Leslie W. And of course that would be followed by dinner. We never lacked for conversation. Although I never met her girls, I feel like I got to know you as she talked about you both and was so proud of you. What a smart, sassy, and interesting person. I will never forget her shoes. I will surely miss her.
