Years ago, Fran DeLott was president of the Association of Tenants of Lincoln Towers (ATLT), the organization that represents rent-stabilized tenants in 6 high-rise apartment buildings on West End Avenue from 66th to 70th Street. At the time, ATLT was one of the largest tenant organizations in New York City. Although Fran chose to buy her apartment when the buildings went coop in the 80s, she continued to support ATLT through annual dues and generous contributions. We are grateful for Fran's leadership and for her long-standing commitment to affordable housing in New York.

In 2025, the Association of Tenants of Lincoln Towers will celebrate it's 50th anniversary.  One of our early presidents -- who charted the way for our organization, was Frances Delott. Even after she was no longer a renter, she continued to support ATLT with annual dues and very generous contributions. She was a true leader who believed in our cause: affordable housing in New York.

Fran lived a wonderful life. She was a great coworker and a great friend and I miss her acutely.

Where she is now, she is certainly eager to learn everything she can from the afterlife. That’s just how Fran was! Everything excited her curiosity and people were very drawn to that aspect of her as well as her kindness and her interest.

Fran goes down in my personal history book as being the only person who ever met a man at a civil service exam! No one does that they just suffer through, but not Fran might beloved friend and coworker
