My family and I are very sad that Fred passed away. He has been an important part of our lives and my closest friend for over 50 years.

Fred could make things happen. He was creative, intelligent, skilled and practical. He had extensive international knowledge and experience with a unique ability to work with different cultures at all levels.

He possessed a vast knowledge of the fragrance business which became his passion. The base for this knowledge started with executive roles with Helena Rubinstein and Revlon and then expanded with a number of companies he founded including Parlux Fragrances.

His accomplishments are numerous. We shared numerous projects. Once engaged, he was tireless. Our skills differed and as a team, we were generally successful.

His distinctive sense of humor normally emerged in our conversations. It was there even when times were tough. Whatever the result, he was never vindictive.

His wife Kristina was his soul-mate. He often spoke of and was very proud of her accomplishments. Her well-being was more important than his own.

When our work relationship ended, we continued our close friendship. Up to the time he was confined to the hospital, we had been continually in contact.

My family and I are grateful that he was part of our lives. He left memories that we will always cherish.
