Our beloved dad, uncle, brother, friend, New Yorker, patron and appreciator of the arts, farmer's market enthusiast, polymath, tennis-lover, wearer of many hats (literally and figuratively), doctor, wordsmith, food critic, Francophile, passed away peacefully at the Mount Sinai hospital on Friday, October 18. He will be greatly missed. We will remember him together on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Riverside Memorial Chapel (180 West 76th Street, NY, NY 10023). A livestream will also be available.
Additionally, our dad repeatedly told us that funerals are for the living. So we hope that in lieu of temporary flowers or gifts, you would consider donating to (one of) these organizations that held a special place in our dad’s heart and will have a lasting impact:
White Wave Dance, where he was a board member: https://www.whitewavedance.org/support.
Paul Taylor Dance Company (Educational Outreach) one of his favorites: https://paultaylordance.org/school/educational-partnerships/.
New York Junior Tennis & Learning - free tennis programs for New York City kids who couldn’t otherwise afford tennis, one of his favorite hobbies: http://www.nyjtl.org/about/mission/.
