Maguire–Joan, beloved daughter of Florence and Charles J. and sister of Charles H. passed unexpectedly on November 29, 2012. In addition to being the executive assistant to the chairman of Borden Inc. for 15 years, she was an invaluable volunteer with the Cardinal Cooke Guild as well as a past president and board member of the Ladies of Charity. She is survived by her nephews CJ, Dennis, John and James and niece Eleanor and 14 grand- and 5 great-grand nieces and nephews. Visitation is at Andrett Funeral Home, 353 Second Ave. NYC, Wednesday, December 12, 2-5 & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist, Thursday, December 13 at 11:00am.
