Joan was a great lady. She cared deeply for others and put preciously needed resources behind her compassion and respect for the human person. We are so pleased to see her legacy continues.

All of us at Catholic Guardian Services mourn the loss of our dear friend Joan. She was a stalwart supporter of our mission to serve pregnant and parenting women in need. Her tremendous and faithful generosity has saved the lives of countless women and children. We were blessed to know such a good and compassionate person. May she rest in peace.

Joan was a nurse for the ages....and she served for ages! No problem was too big or too small for Joan to give her tender loving care to.
We were blessed to share 9 pilgrimages to Lourdes with her and she will be sorely missed.
She was generous of heart, deed and talent.
We will remember her with a donation to one of her favorite charities that serves the sick and the poor...the Franciscan Bread Line in NYC.

I was blessed to volunteer with Joan for many years as a fellow nurse with the Order of Malta Lourdes Pilgrimage.  She cared deeply about her patients always ensuring they had what they needed.    She was an integral part of the medical team, known and loved by all!

She was always willing to help and support fellow nurses.  She was truly a joy to be with on our many pilgrimages.

You will be missed, dear Joan!

I had the pleasure of getting to know Joan and serve with her through the Order of Malta. She was a beloved member of our medical team in Lourdes each year. I saw her last at the Investiture in Manhattan last November. She was an old school nurse who cared deeply for all in her care. Her smile and spirit will be missed. May she Rest in Peace!

We are saddened to hear of Joan's passing but celebrate her legacy as a caregiver, philanthropist, wife and mother, and loyal supporter of the sea services. We will celebrate Joan's memory at our 120th Anniversary Dinner on November 10, as she had recently been named as the 2022 J. Robert Lunney Patriot's Award honoree. Our deepest sympathy goes out to her family and friends.
