I've only just heard the sad news. I went to school with John and was part of the mod crowd when we left.  I would play pool with John in the Good Intent when it had shut for the afternoon. We would stuff beer towels in the pockets so the balls could be used again without having to pay. Always a good laugh with John. Thanks for the memories

John was a lovely lad. Being friends with his brother Dave when they both lived with their mum Kate at The Good Intent in Chatham, we spent a lot of time around each other.  Always quick witted, fun loving and the nicest of blokes. We occasionally exchanged messages on social media and often reminisced about the good old days.  The world will be a sadder place without him. Ride high on that scooter Flan! Love, Buttons x x

Many memories far too many to mention. But john was the nicest most wonderful human.  Not one bad bone in him. Just a true Gent. The world is a worse place with out him.  I think we have all lost a part of us now we have lost him.  Miss you flan
