Joe was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived his entire life in New York City, a city he loved. He was a Vietnam era veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He loved sports and was an avid New York Ranger and New York Yankee fan. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Marian. With his wife, he loved to travel and particularly loved the beach and his vacation home in the Hamptons. He was a special brother -in-law to Jim and Debbie, Patty and Louie, Maureen and Jim, and Regina and Jim. While Joe did not have any children of his own, he was a much loved uncle to his 9 nieces and nephews: Megan, Caitlin, Louis, Jason, Lisa, Vicki, Jimmy, Kristen and Erin. Joe was a kind and gentle soul who always put others needs above his own. He will be sorely missed by his wife and his extended family.
