Josette Joseph passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the age of 68. Throughout her life, Josette was defined by her unwavering strength and the deep, enduring connections she nurtured.

She leaves behind her faithful sister, Marie Joseph. While she may not have had children of her own, she was the deeply cherished second mother to her four devoted nieces and the beloved "Great-Aunt" to a plethora of great-nieces and nephews. Her circle extended beyond family to include a remarkable group of lifelong friends whom she loved fiercely and regarded as kin.

A woman of boundless curiosity, grace, and remarkable resilience, Josette's life was a testament to following one's passions and overcoming challenges with faith. She embraced the philosophy of a life well-lived and sweetly savored. She was a joyous epicurean, always eager to try a new dish, and her commitment to the "dessert first" policy ensured there was always sweetness and laughter in every gathering with family and friends.

Her home was a peaceful sanctuary that reflected her beautiful soul.

Guided by deep spirituality and unwavering religious faith, she sought knowledge and peace, and shared that wisdom with those around her. Her vibrant love of plants transformed her living space into a lush haven, a reflection of the nurturing energy she poured into all her relationships. A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, located at 152 W 71st St, New York, NY 10023, United States. The service is scheduled for November 7, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
