Kathleen G. Flintoft of New York, NY passed away on September 8th, 2024. Born in Bradford PA March 22, 1941 to Susan L and Hugh A Grant. A Graduate of Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School and Manhattanville College. Kathy loved children which led her to start her own business, a children’s boutique, Wee Folk, in Manhattan. Her passion further led her to being a dedicated educator. Her career in education spanned over 30 years, teaching at St. David’s School and then at Brick Church School where she ultimately served as Director of Admissions. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, aunt & friend. She is survived by her children, Philip Grant Flintoft (Jennie) and Peter Flintoft (Yuliya), granddaughter Olivia and her 9 nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 17 from 4-7pm at Frank E. Campbell, 1076 Madison Avenue at 81 Street. The funeral service will be held Wednesday 10am at St. Thomas More Church at 65 E 89th St., between Park and Madison.
