Linda M Wojtowicz

Linda M. Wojtowicz passed away peacefully at age sixty one on Nov 10, 2017 at her home in Manhattan surrounded by her beloved partner, Ilene Borden and her treasured Maisie. Linda was born in Jersey City to Verna and the late John Wojtowicz. After graduating from St. Dominicks Academy she continued her studies with a BS in Biology at Jersey City State College. Later on she pursued her dreams by getting her Nursing degree from Columbia University and completed her Family Nurse Practitioner studies getting an MS degree at Pace University. Her love of science, medicine and nursing benefited so many as she practiced for 20 years at New York Hospital in a profession that she loved and one in which she excelled. She brought great kindness and empathy to all of her patients and was a trusted and respected mentor and colleague to many. Linda is survived by her beloved partner of twenty three years, Ilene and Little Mama – Maisie. She is also survived by her mother, Verna Wojtowicz and devoted lifelong friend Robert Ferguson. Her family and many friends will miss her loving presence in their lives. Services will be on Monday Nov 13 th, 3-8 pm at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel in Manhattan.
