

Maurice Armstrong Johnson was born on March 13, 1960 In New York City. Maurice was highly skilled having worked in the construction trade, especially as an electrician. His experience included working for Young Harlem Community Workers, Inc.; ABM Building Value; Salsa Caterers, Inc.; Camera Service Center Inc.; and the National Black Theatre Inc.
Besides being qualified in many of the building trades, Maurice loved being a chef. He was an enthusiastic cook for over 15 years. He took great pride in his ability to produce quality meals under pressure. He was detailed oriented in the Baking and Pastry Profession and loved to create custom desserts and orders. His experience included cooking for the Hamilton Grange Senior Citizen's Center; Find Aid for the Aged, Inc.; Salsa Caterers, Inc.; Atlantic Grill Inc.; and Ultima "A" Catering Service.
Maurice was graduated Charles Evans Hughes High School with a Regents Diploma and he was certified as a cook and electrical worker from City College of New York.
Maurice leaves to mourn his wife Alicia Ling Johnson of over 30 years; His five children, Christina, Damien, David, Maurice Jr., and Staci, and a host of relatives and friends.
