Re: Mike Piantadosi's passing.

  I'm an ex employee and was a Handyman/Maintenance person from 1990 to 2002 at the Bldgs. he managed on 48th, 56th, 100th, 168th Street (NYC, NY) and the various Fountain Houses in Hells Kitchen.  Mike worked close with me when I first started out with Home repair at Fountain House, later on 56th, 48th, 47th Streets, in various methods of work procedures in communication too, while I worked with Gus Malespin, Jose Maldonado, Suezo Dioncio, Dennis Redden, Bldg. Supts. @  48th, 47th Street (Fountain House.) and he was patient, caring, capable of seeing situations and arriving at solutions before issues rose up.  He will be remembered for his humor with all of us (His employees at the time.), his ability to get work done effectively and his unique talent to smooth out issues among disagreeable employees.

  My deepest sympathy to his family and appreciation for all of the ways he Mentored me on my career path.

Mike i just found out you passed from my ex co worker Andrew i worked for you for 10 years at 430 west 56th st for Care i remember when you got married to Christine and you had your baby girl you was the best boss and caring person i ever met you brought me groceries after my car accident personally no body does that unless you have a hart of gold rest in peace my old friend i will always remember you   sorry for your lost Christine  RIP Mike from Gustavo Malespin



Reunited after 50 years via Facebook last summer.. spoke on the phone like we were never apart as friends.

Thanks for being a dear friend and neighbor during our crazy teenage years!

Sorry I was not able to visit you on person.. but I am fortunate to have those great memories!

Too many memories to count that we shared growing up together for our nephew/cousin Michael.  We love you, we will miss you and hold you forever in our hearts.  With deepest  condolences,         Aunt Joanie Sohanchyk Curtin , Aunt Patty Sohanchyk Cummings, Dee Dee Curtin Iannuzzi, Patty Ellen Cummings Merrill, Michael Cummings and Paul Cummings.

I have shared a photo of Michael with the Cummings, Curtin, and Sohanchyk families, celebrating the 70th Birthday Party for our Aunt Joan Curtin.   I am sorry to say that we found out about his passing too late to pay our respects, and extend our condolences to his wife as well as his family at their time of grief.  

I  look back fondly at the time we spent growing up together in Yonkers, both before and after the passing of his mother, born Marion Cummings, who was taken from all of us at an early age.   I also learned a lot from  Michael and my Uncle George, working with both of them at my first full time job.  God's Peace to you Michael.  While you may be gone from this earth, you remain in our hearts.
    

Mike thank you for always being such a warm presence at every gathering. We all will miss you and that casual smile you consistently had. 

My family and I have fond memories of Michael, he was always kind and generous.  Our condolences to his family on such a loss.  We will remember his delicious raviolis on the holidays.  May he Rest In Peace eternal. May the Lord bless and comfort his family.
