Patrik Ringstroem, 43, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, after a courageous three-year battle with brain cancer. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, treasured son, and loyal friend whose brilliance, humor, and adventurous spirit left a lasting mark on all who knew him.
Born on March 12, 1982, in Stockholm, Sweden, Patrik was the cherished only child of Titti and Ulf Ringstroem. From an early age, his curiosity and drive illuminated every path he took. His journey led him from Sweden to the London School of Economics, where he studied Management, and then into a career marked by leadership roles at Oliver Wyman, J.P. Morgan, MetLife, and most recently, Plaid. Patrik was admired not only for his intellect, vision, and dedication, but also for his generosity of spirit, quick wit, and ability to bring out the best in others.
While he took great pride in his work, Patrik was most fulfilled by the time he shared with family. He and his wife, Manjari, shared eighteen years of laughter, warmth, and unwavering devotion. Together, they welcomed their two greatest joys — Freya in 2015 and Aidan in 2020. For Patrik, no title held greater meaning than that of father, and he approached it with boundless love and pride.
An adventurer at heart, Patrik traveled to nearly 40 countries, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, and enjoyed exploring the seas as a sailor and diver. Friends often joked that he had managed to live five lives in the span of one, and yet he always made space for more — more curiosity, more joy, more generosity. He brought that same spirit into the kitchen, where his love of cooking and wine became another way to connect with those around him.
Despite his many accomplishments, it was Patrik’s presence that people cherished most. His sharp wit, easy humor, and kindness put others at ease, while his humility and warmth left a lasting impression. He gave of himself freely, and his friendship was a gift treasured by many.
Patrik is survived by his beloved wife, Manjari; their children, Freya and Aidan; and his loving parents, Titti and Ulf. He will also be deeply missed by extended family, lifelong friends, and colleagues across the world.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to The National Brain Tumor Society in Patrik’s memory: https://nbtsevents.braintumor.org/patrik
His life was one of courage, joy, and love. Though his time with us was far too short, his light will continue to shine through the many lives he touched.
