She attended the Brearley School in NYC, and cherished the long-lasting relationships she formed there. Rebecca brought people together, and was actively involved in the school’s alumnae activities including co-chairing her re-union committee.
She loved literature and music. Rebecca made the Dean’s List every year while pursuing her B.A. in English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. Her passion for folk music led her to manage Columbia’s Postcrypt Coffeehouse, where she curated the musical talent.
Rebecca earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law. Upon graduating, she was honored with the Schear Book Prize “for the student most likely to make a uniquely positive mark on her universe.” She built a distinguished legal career, ultimately serving as Senior Lead Counsel at LinkedIn, where she always made time organizing community events through the Pro Bono Committee.
Most of all, Rebecca will be remembered as a devoted mother. She found her greatest joy in her family. She gave her heart and soul to raising two wonderful children. She made friends everywhere she went, and those who knew her will remember her warmth, generosity, thoughtfulness, and sharp sense of humor.
Rebecca is survived by her beloved husband of ten years, Marvin; her daughter, Adina; her son, Isaac; and her mothers, Sheila and Nancy.
