June L. Hackley

June L. Hackley, 87, of TN, formerly of Newburgh, IN, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018. She was born in Chicago, IL on December 10, 1930 to the late James and Leona Meeks. She retired as a bookkeeper from Lucky Grocery Store in California. June was a Christian and enjoyed water skiing and square dancing. Later in life, she enjoyed reading and television. June was preceded in death by her husband, William Hackley, in 2008. She is survived by daughter, Jeri Davidson (Donnie) of Johnson City, TN; son, James DeLong (Kim) of Irvine, CA; grandchildren, Jennifer Poux (Christopher), James Davidson (Heidi) great-grandchildren, Tyler Nellis, Lauren Nellis, Hollis Davidson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel officiated by Pastor Mike Claypool with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit 1:00 PM until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Warrick Humane Society.
