Robert E. Wilson

Robert E. Wilson, 85, of Boonville, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020. He was born July 28, 1935 in Carmi, IL to the late Rufus and Eunice (Ude) Wilson. He graduated from Murray State University, was an Army veteran and retired from the human resources department at Whirlpool. He enjoyed playing golf with his wife. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Cheri Wilson in 1996; and brothers, James and John Wilson. He is survived by his daughter, Tracy Wilson of Newburgh; son, Robert W. Wilson of Boonville, and grandchildren, Benjamin Symanowicz of San Antonio, TX, Stephani Symanowicz of Salem, OR and Danielle Davidson of Newburgh. A Funeral Service will be 12:00 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2020 at Alexander Memorial Park, 2200 Mesker Park Dr., officiated by Pastor Mike Claypool with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park Chapel of Remembrance. Friends may visit Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the cemetery chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
