Robert "Bobby" E. Young

Robert “Bobby” E. Young, 84, of Chandler, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020. He was born November 16, 1935 in Perry County, IN to the late Earl W. and Theldy (Kirk) Young. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Newburgh. Bobby retired from Whirlpool after 31 years. He loved all animals and was a fun and loving spirit. Bobby was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Young. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Norma J. Young; son, Earl L. Young (Deanna); daughters, Kathy L. Foley (Timothy) and Janet L. Rogier; grandchildren, Phillip L. Young (Kristen), Matthew E. Young (Sara), Michael B. Young (LaChrista), Nicholas P. Foley (Tonya), Kristy L. Ulrey (Jeff), Amy F. Cooper (Adam), Kara Beth Kaufmann (Kevin) and Ryan R. Rogier, and 13 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 9, 2020 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish, 625 Frame Road in Newburgh, officiated by Fr. Claude Burns, with burial in St. John Church Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
