William K. Weare Jr.

William K. Weare, Jr., 76 of Newburgh passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021. He was born December 27, 1944 in Evansville to the late William and Marie (VonSachse) Weare. He was a Marine veteran serving in the Vietnam War and a member of the American Legion Kapperman Post #44. William worked in financing with local auto dealers and banks. He retired from Gil’s 4 Seasons Lawn Equipment. He worked with Castle Youth League baseball and football and loved watching his children and grandchildren play sports. He enjoyed playing cards and vacationing at Kentucky Lake with friends. William was preceded in death by daughter, Crystal Weare; brother, Robert Weare, and stepfather, Roger Miller. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy Weare; children, Kelly Wright (Mark) of Newburgh, Dr. Chad Weare of Newburgh, Kimmie Sallee (Jason) of Boonville and Chris Weare (Myra) of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Madison, Dylan and Kennedy Wright, Jessie Marx (Tyler), Hudson and Hadley Weare, and great grandchildren, Savanah Marx and Peter Glenn Gall VI. Friends may visit 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2021 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261. A private funeral service will be held with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
