

Anthony J. Peters, born Anthony Joseph DiPietrantonio, age 96, of North Hills, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025. Beloved husband of Peggy (Kuchta) Peters. He is survived by his children; Kelly Peters, Kasey Peters, Dean Peters, Daniel Herrington, Michael Herrington, Wendy Rhodes, Gale Chmidling; His 14 grand-children, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; Brother of late, Eugene, Alfred, John, Josephine, Esther, Antoinette, Lucille, Lena and Mike. Son of the late Salvatore and Anna Maria DiPietrantonio.
Tony was born in McKees Rocks, PA. He served in the army during the Korean War as an artillery specialist. After the war Tony went to work for Hoover Vacuum cooperation before owning his own vacuum stores in West Hollywood and Reseda, CA, for 35 years. In the 50’s, 60’s and early 70’s he was a drummer working dinner houses throughout the southland. He continued his love of drumming and music until his death. He was a strong man. Even at 96 - his grip from holding drum sticks most of his life was tight and true. A Proud and sturdy man that built a good life, from humble beginnings, for himself and his loved ones. His big, bright smile will be missed.
Mass will be celebrated in Santa Clarita Valley, Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, October 15th at 11:00 a.m. Family and Friends will be received at Bella Cucina Restaurant, 27911 Seco Canyon Rd. Santa Clarita from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Private burial will follow, Eternal Valley Cemetary.
