Armida was born in Chihuahua Mexico on February 12, 1936. She moved to California at a young age, where she lived a wonderful, fulfilling life as a mother and a business owner. Armida married the love of her life Salvador H. Mendoza who preceded her in death in 1998. Armida moved to Valencia 44 years ago and remained a resident until her passing. Armida loved the holidays and spending time with her family. For years she worked alongside her husband, Salvador, in assisting clients prepare their income tax returns and with meeting their insurance needs. Quite the garden enthusiast, Armida enjoyed spending time outdoors surrounded by the rich colors of her beautiful flowers. Her life was a living example of cultivating a “garden” in the world by touching and enriching the lives of anyone with whom she came in contact. Traveling was her passion, with Yosemite, Canada and Hawaii as a couple of her favorite destinations. Armida is survived by her siblings Evangelina G. Sifuentes and Jesus Garcia Estrada; her daughter, Diana Mendoza; her grandchildren, Jason Chavez and Angela Chavez.
