

Dennis Arthur Collier, 84, of Canyon Country passed away after a long illness on January 21st at this home with his family at his side. Dennis was born in Edmonton, England on October 8, 1927. He served in the English Army. Dennis was a master tailor working as general manager at Ratners Men’s Clothing, Valdan Mens clothing, Likes International and Fineline Inc. He is survived by his Wife of 61 years,Irene, Sister’s; Connie Pix of London, England and Joyce Atwood of Trenton, New Jersey. Children; Christopher, Michael, Theresa and Dennis, Grandchildren; Marie, Michael, John, Sean, Jessica, Cameron, Kevin, AJ, Christopher & Shelby, Great Grandchildren; Kayla, Haley, Damien and Dean.
A message from his family:
He came to this country with a wife and a small child to strike out a new life. “A True Pioneer” A man with a vision of a better life for his family. He was a man to be looked up to and respected. He settled his family in San Diego, CA and had three more children. He lived in San Diego for 19 years and through a career move relocated to Los Angeles, CA. He loved music and camping in the great outdoors. He felt he was a farmer at heart with his green house and vegetable garden. His favorite flower was a tomato plant, Ha Ha. He will be greatly missed.
Services will be held on Saturday February 4, 2012 at 10:00am at Eternal Valley Mortuary in the Chapel of the Hills.
