Dennis W. Winget passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014. He was born on September 30, 1941 in Des Moines, IA to Mary Ellen Habick and Jed W. Winget. A resident of the Santa Clarita Valley since 1992, Dennis lived in Saugus, CA.After finishing high school, Dennis enlisted in the United States Navy. Right after his honorable discharge, he started working for Deluxe Check Printer where he worked for 34 years.He is survived by his wife Mirta T. Winget; his sister Linda McKinley (Bryan); his nephews: Tylor and Collin McKinley; his step-daughter Andrea S. Ibanez Matzke (Dave); his grandchildren: Shawn M. and Kristina R. Dougherty.Dennis survived for 15 years after his initial cancer diagnosis and, thanks to all the doctors and nurses in Kaiser Permanente, he was able to live all these years under the care of very dedicated and compassionate professionals."Rest in Peace, my Love."Memorial Services will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, 23287 Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA 91321.
