When a mother's touch mean so much,I would be remiss if I didn't  express my gratitude for all the sacrifices that granny had made for me and my children. I would also like to thank Danielle,Franchesta,and John Jr. For sharing your mother with us, allowing my children and to borrow the time that she would stretch amongst all of her children. Not only was she your mother. And my children's grandmother,but she had been a mother to me,as well.Granny was a dedicated woman who served diligently in all her endeavors, and I will forever frame her memory in my heart, cherishing the ambitious spirit  that had graced my life. My deepest condolences, Our family just got the news today  Dorothy was so wonderful, warm hearted, caring, always thoughtful, and many blessed like mother type landlord. We all miss her!!! May our Lord, Jesus open His arm wide to welcome Dorothy. 

We are all so sorry for the oss...Many Many encouragement and comfort to whole family members.

There are sooo, many memories that have flooded my mind and heart. There are a couple that stand out the most about my friend of 57 years, and those are Dorothy’s strength and determination! Once she set her mind on a project, no matter how large or small, she ALWAYS finished. The other is the undisputed love for her children! She always was in complete control of everything she attempted. I know that leaving this earth at this time was not something she had control of. She was called  to service by a higher being. I miss her smile, her laughter , and her presence.                                     

I didn't know Ms. Dorothy very well, but the memories I have of her are centered around her granddaughter's, Naomi, basketball games, as our girls played together throughout middle school and   high school.  She was very kind to my daughter and I, whenever we encountered her, and I was even blessed to share a few laughs with her as we cheered our girls on. I am very sorry to hear of Ms. Dorothy's passing, and it is from a sincere heart to yours that I pray peace and comfort over you all. I pray that in this hour God will do for you what you cannot do for yourselves, being the strength and courage in your time of need. Many blessings to you all.

Please know, Dorothy was my mentor since 1978 when I began working as an RN  in critical  care.
She changed my life by improving my effectiveness to help those requiring intensive care. She was not just instrumental in my life, but in all the lives I was able to save through Dorothy's  wonderful guidance. Her spirit will live on through all of us fortunate enough to have known Dorothy. 

She taught me how to drive and took me to get my license. She was always supportive and encouraging. I love and miss you.
