

She was born in Spring City, Tennessee on January 21, 1936, to Tom Long and Mamie Ezell Long. Ever proud of her Tennessee roots, she would revisit multiple times a year to see her relatives and friends and was very fond of attending her school reunions.
She married her high school sweetheart, Norman Adams, on April 25, 1953, in Rossville, Georgia. Shortly after the wedding they moved to California, first to Culver City, then Canyon Country. They would remain married for 51 years.
Edna was a beautician and owned Cinderella Beauty Salon in Newhall - making everyone beautiful for over 50 years. She truly enjoyed doing hair and could always be counted on to roll a perm or make new color for her clients.
She loved her husband, Norman very much. She also loved being a Mom to her kids and a Nana to all of her grandkids and would especially enjoy when they would call or visit her. She enjoyed traveling and went to such wonderful places as England, Jerusalem, Mexico, Hawaii, and Alaska. One of her hobbies during the holiday time, was to make delicious candy such as peanut brittle and hand out the candy to everyone as gifts.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter Sharon (Greg) Hicks of Sacramento, CA, daughter Karan (Oscar) Nieblas of Pahrump, NV, son Shawnn (Kimberly) Adams, Sr. of San Antonio TX, grandchildren; Garry Holcomb II, Teressa Holcomb, Tamara Holcomb, Tara Holcomb, Randy Hicks, Katie Hicks, Tracy Adams and Shawnn Adams, Jr. Great-grandchildren; Teesha, Quinton, Nathaniel, Taighlor, Tenise, Destiny, Maddison, Freddy, Taliegh, Caleb, Tyashya, Onyx and Zemora, great-great-grandchildren Odin, Isla and Harper and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, sister Sue Parker, brother-in-law Jack Parker, brother-in-laws Bobby Adams and Ronnie Adams (passed shortly after Edna), parents Tom and Mamie Long, great-grandson Isaiah.
