Elise Keen Anderson

Elise Keen Anderson, born in Houston, TX on February 22, 1954, passed away on February 15, 2026 from complications from Alzheimer's disease in Santa Clarita, CA. She was a loving and wonderful wife and mother. Elise had a long and successful career working in the entertainment industry with Elektra Asylum/Nonesuch Records, Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures. She left that industry to be closer to her family and to raise her two children. While raising her boys, Elise became a substitute school teacher and music/choir teacher in the Saugus Union School District, the Sulphur Springs School District and the Newhall School District. She loved to teach students the joy of education and especially the importance of music. On many occasions, Elise would be greeted by students around town who recognized her from their classrooms. Elise had a warm, friendly and personable nature that was recognized by all. Elise is survived by her husband of 41 years, Michael Anderson, her son Philip Anderson, Philip’s wife Nicola and grandson Calvin, her son Joseph Anderson and his wife Karla. Elise has left us with love and joy that will remain with us and we shall pass her gifts on to the next generation. With great love, we miss our girl, Elise Anderson.
