'Betty Jeanne' as she was known to her siblings and friends, was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 10, 1923 and left us on September 20,2011. She was the second of four Kirkbride children for Kathleen and Myron, and the last of the family to pass on.
Betty was a member of that great generation that survived the Great Depression, endured the hardships of World War II and persevered through the 'Cold' War years that followed. She was witness to many changes in the world over her life and marveled at the ever evolving journey of mankind and our discoveries of the universe in which we live.
You are loved by your three children, four grand-children , eleven great grand-children and lifelong friends. You are remembered for your love, selfless friendship, honesty, and your willingness to share with others. The world is better because you were here, and less because you have moved on.
