McKenzie, Grace Shaffery (86) died of natural causes on September 6, 2012 in Santa Clarita, California. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, she moved to Clearwater, Florida in 1988 from Lincoln Park, NJ and in March 2012 moved from Clearwater to Santa Clarita, California. She was an executive secretary at Chubb & Son, Inc. for 23 years and enjoyed traveling, needlework and for many years volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Shop in Clearwater, Fl. She is a member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Clearwater, Fl. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roderick McKenzie. She is survived by her brother and his wife, John J. and Mary Shaffery of Stamford, CT. and beloved by her five nieces and nephews.
