James Karl Britten Jr.

Jim was a devoted father, brother, and son whose life was defined by hard work, loyalty, and quiet strength. He spent his life providing for his family and took pride in the simple things — showing up for the people he loved, working with his hands, sharing meals, and creating a life built on dedication and responsibility.

Those who knew Jim remember his steady presence, his sense of humor, and the way he expressed love through actions more than words. He was someone others could count on, and his devotion to his family never wavered. Whether through his work, his stories, or the everyday moments shared with those closest to him, Jim left a lasting impression on the people around him.

He is survived by his sons and grandchildren, who carry forward his memory, values, and the deep love he had for his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held by the family on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Barone’s Famous Italian Restaurant (13726 Oxnard Street, Valley Glen, CA 91401), a place Jim enjoyed and where family and friends will gather to share stories and remember his life.

The family of James Karl Britten Jr. extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who offered care, support, and kindness during this difficult time.
