Jim was in the Navy, stationed in San Diego. He arrived on a warm and sunny day in December, that’s when he decided that California would be his home when his service was complete. For the next 66 plus years that’s exactly what he did.
Jim was a Carpenter by trade and was granted a Life Membership of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. Jim was married to his wife Dorothy for 47 years before her passing in March 2014. They made their home in Van Nuys, California. Jim is survived by a daughter Julie and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
