Laura Lee Vitale

passed away in the early morning of March 2, 2021, in her home, surrounded by her family, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Laura was born May 10,1960 to Steven and Claire Pollender. She was born in Hollywood, CA.

Laura graduated from Verdugo Hills High School in 1978 and attended Los Angeles Valley College.

In June 1983 she married Jim Vitale, and together they raised 2 children, Lisa and Luca.

Following their marriage Laura joined her husband in the escrow business that they ran together for more than 35 years. Laura was highly regarded in the escrow profession by all that worked with her. For health reasons Laura retired in 2018.

Laura loved gardening and traveling and was an avid reader. She enjoyed being with friends doing puzzles and playing board games or cards... Any occasion or get together of any kind was reason enough for Laura to turn it into a party. Always an easy smile, quick to laugh and even quicker with a witty reply.

Laura is preceded in death by her father, Steven, and her mother, Claire. She is survived by her husband, Jim, her 2 children, Lisa and Luca, her brother Steven (Missie), her loving family Al, Ron (Marion), Seb & Carole, Jon (Beth), Mike, Tara, Patty, Ron C., and Jeannine, her nieces and nephews, Deana, Traci, Melissa, Christie, Brianna, Christian, Belinda, Anthony, Gina, Dominic, Krista, Ryan, Kayleen, and Kyle, and her many, many cherished friends as well as her four legged constant companion "Kona".

In Lieu of flowers donations in Laura's memory made be made to the City of Hope.
