On the eve of her passing, this poem was posted on the Internet:
A Christmas Prayer
A Christmas prayer I offer now
To Christ, my Lord and King.
Just like the wise men, I will bow
And all my reverence bring.
And like the shepherds, I will come
To worship and adore.
And with rejoicing in my heart
I’ll praise Him evermore.
~Lorena E. Worlein

Lorena was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sister, niece and nephews, who live in the Midwest.
