My heart is so broken that my cousin Lorraine is no longer here with us but I’m glad she is no longer  in pain and sickness and that Gods arms are wrapped around her loving her as kids me and Lorraine would dance for our nana as she would drink with my nino (Gus) we would put in some large night gowns of our nanas tie them up so they wouldn’t drag and put Freddy fender on and dance our little hearts out making our nana smile me and Lorraine were more like sisters growing up she was only a year older than me but I can remember I always want to do everything she did I remember she had to wear glasses and I made my grandmother take me to the eye doctor and I lied on the eye test just so I could have glasses just like Lorraine and when I got them, I hated them, but my grandma made me wear them because eye doctor said I had bad eyes since I lied on the test but if as long as I could be like Lorraine, I was gonna do it then I remember when the rain cut her hair short she looks so nice in it so I decided let me cut my hair short so I can look pretty just like my cousin Lorraine. I hated it. The only regret I truly have is I sit here writing this is that as we grew up and grew into our own lives. The time that I let go without seeing her in, I could’ve had so many more memories as adults with her I just want her to know a day that I love her. I never stop loving her. I did get to go see her at the end and what a blessing. It was to watch the way, her children and her grandchildren were with her. She truly was a good woman, a good mother, a good grandmother and today I can imagine her up there in heaven with God, my Nana and she’s dancing for my Nana just like we did when we were kids. I love you, Loretta and I’ll always miss you. Save a spot for me because I’ll be there soon one day and we’ll both be able to dance for our Nana again.

There are no words big enough for a loss like of such a amazing stong woman. She was a beautiful soul a loving mom, beautiful wife, precious grandmother, daughter, and friend. The love she gave so freely will continue to live on in each of you. May you feel surrounded by comfort, strength, and the memories that will forever keep her close. My first memory of your beautiful mom, wife, grandmother, daughter, and sweet cousin was when I was just a kid. My oldest cousin, John Boy, brought the most beautiful young woman over to meet Grandma Irene and Grandpa Chon at their house on Carl St. Luckily, I was living at grandma’s house at the time, so I witnessed the entire visit. When your mom walked through the door, I was mesmerized by her beauty inside and out. I thought she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. She radiated. Everyone loved her. I sat on grandma’s velvet flowery couch and chatted with her and she was so kind to me. I was probably 10 years old at the time. Lorraine only got better and wiser as we aged. She is a very special and loving cousin, I will never forget. I’m sorry I didn’t stay in touch as we grew older. ❤️ So much love to the entire family. My condolences for your HUGE loss.
