Mark we shared many a laugh. Will never forget all the great chicken wings we cooked over the years . You raised two of the finest kids I ever had the privilege of being around. I remember we were in a drive thru and there was a country song on called little virtue as we pulled up to the window the girl asked what we wanted and I shouted out ( little bit tie woman) you started laughing so hard that we couldn’t even finish ordering our food. Thanks for all the memories Mark. Love you and miss you.

Leo Pope i met Mark in 1984 we lived in the culdasac and right away i found a great friend. He loved to laugh and his family was first in his life. I can't  tell you how many years we cooked chicken  wings on the weekends. We made many trips to the King 8 for wings also. He took pride in raising his children right. I will miss all the great times together over the years. Jammie and Mark James stay strong. Louise you are there strength and God will lead you on way for you and the family. 

Mark and I want camping near Tombstone Az one time and it still is a great memory !
The wind blew so hard we had to attach our tent to both cars !
Got to hike, shoot a little and just had great guy time. He will be greatly missed ! 

My son Curtis Fischer had been friends with Mark's daughter Jamie for years. Jamie's family adopted Curtis and his children right in as their own.  Mark helped Curtis with construction projects and taught him how to make minor repairs on his house.  Curtis passed away 11/17/2017.  
Curtis and Mark are having a great reunion.  The rest of the DeVries family has touched our lives more than they will ever know.  Our most deepest condolences 🙏  ❤🙏.  


Growing up in Las Vegas, Mark and Louise became family to us! We grew up spending weekends boating, camping, and fishing with the DeVries Family. I have so many memories with Mark. His boisterous laugh and huge smile will be missed always. Our thoughts are with you Louise, Mark-James, Jamie, and Cole. 

Mark had such a big heart.   When you met him it was like you became instant family to him.  His smile will be missed but will live on in his kids & grand babies.   

Oh my gosh Mark, what an energetic amazing man you are. Your laugh is so contagious, same with your HUGE SMILE AND DANCE MOVES. Thank you for being part of my family since I was so little ! Thank you for all of our amazing memories from the lake, to mountains, to camping and family bbqs. I’m sure going to miss you and making more memories. I’m glad we have you watching over us, I’ve been praying to you and can picture  your face and your reactions, I can see them when I close my eyes. I’m truly grateful that I got to know such an amazing man for most of my life. I’m happy to call you family
