Peter Friedrich Luers was born July 26, 1938 in Vegesach, Breman, Germany. He was the son of Waldemar and Kathie Mohlmann Luers.
In November 1952 Peter immigrated to Canada with his family.
In 1963 Peter moved to Hollywood, California at the invitation of his good friend, Mike Rollenhagen.
Shortly after moving to California, Peter met Dolores "Butchie" Satkowski. They were married in Agassiz, British Columbia, Canada on May 15, 1965.
Peter tried many different jobs in his early years but found his fame and his talent as a professional photographer. Many homes today have a Peter Luers portrait on display in a prominent place.
Peter enjoyed many hobbies including hunting, fishing, golf, tennis, boating, sailing and croquet.
Peter became a US citizen on June 16, 1995.
