Ralph E. Gray

Ralph Edward Gray, Sr. died at age 67 on Sunday, February 15, 2015 following a brief illness. He was surrounded by family and friends as he peacefully passed away. He was born to Bud and Lorraine Gray on July 4, 1947 and lived most of his life in Southern California.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl, his sons Ralph Gray Jr. and Todd Gray and daughter Christine Rocha. He is also survived by his older sister Maryanne Cole and brother Gerald Gray. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Ralph lived in the Santa Clarita Valley for over 40 years and worked at the RTD/MTA for 41 years, retiring in 2013 as an assistant division manager. He enjoyed theatre, traveling and spending time with his children and nine grandchildren. He also enjoyed volunteering for various organizations and volunteered for the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital annual golf tournament for many years.

His memorial will take place at 2:00 PM on March 7, 2015 at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, 23287 N. Sierra Highway, Santa Clarita, CA. Reception to follow at Elks Santa Clarita Lodge 2379, 17766 Sierra Highway, Santa Clarita, CA. Please feel free to wear casual or Hawaiian shirts in Ralph’s memory.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Circle of Hope, 23560 Lyons Avenue, #224, Newhall, CA 91321 would be appreciated. He was an avid supporter of Circle of Hope and was involved in many of their fundraisers.
