Funeral services will be held 10 AM August 16, 2024, at Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Newhall, CA with Roberto Sanchez of Berea Bible Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Eternal Valley Memorial Park.
Richard Lee Hale was born in Tipton, CA to Harold and Florence Hale on August 17, 1934. He went to school in North Hollywood. He married Wanda J. Ennis on July 11, 1958, in Sun Valley. He graduated from Prairie Bible Institute.
Together, they were Missionaries to the Solomon Islands and New Guinea. Upon returning home, he worked for Time Aviation, pastored at First Baptist Church of Sun Valley and Evangelical Free Church of North Hollywood. These ministries lasted over 50 years.
Richard is preceded in death by wife Wanda, parents Harold and Florence as well as Brother Dan and Sister Evelyn.
Richard is survived by children David, Patty, Sherry and Pamela; brothers Gary and Jim; eight Grandchildren and five Great-Grandchildren; his second wife Lois and her Children and Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be his Grandsons and both son in laws.
After burial, attendees are invited to celebrate Richard’s life at the banquet hall provided by Eternal Valley Memorial Park from 12 to 2PM. More information at https://pastordick.org.
